EXPERIENCE
Riot Games, Santa Monica— Gameplay Capture Artist
Nov 2015 - PRESENT
As a Gameplay Capture Artist on Riot Games’ Video team, I concept, shotlist, direct, and create cameras for in-engine cinematics and tutorials for our publishing campaigns, totaling over 80 million views on Riot's Youtube Channel alone.
Throughout my years at Riot, I have directed animators and VFX artists, 3rd party vendors, and gameplay actors in order to meet brand/campaign goals while upholding a the video team's core competencies and craft, as well as my own artistic vision. I’ve created a wide range of videos, from Champion Tutorials to Cinematic Character-Based Stories, to Game-launch trailers.
I have also created videos for every Riot platform, including Social Media, Youtube, Websites, and Live-Performances.
In addition to directing, capturing/staging gameplay, and using Riot’s proprietary engine to create camera moves through a Keyframe system, I also provide Pre-Vis and Layout through Maya and Unreal. I have also modified LUA scripts, animation, VFX, models, and created maps and geo when needed.
